Adopt a Mile from Keep Dalton-Whitfield Beautiful is available to businesses, organizations, schools, families, and individuals in Whitfield County, Georgia. Each organization is invited to adopt a road that is half a mile to one mile in length, and commit to removing litter from both sides of the road at least 4 times per year (once per quarter). Cleanup supplies like safety vests, gloves, and litter grabbers can be borrowed from KDWB if enough notice is given. Trash bags are also available thanks to a generous sponsorship by GLAD through Keep America Beautiful. After each cleanup groups are required to submit a cleanup status report. Certificates of participation are available for volunteers upon request. Photos submitted with the report may be posted on social media to thank and recognize the volunteers for helping to keep our city and county beautiful.

To participate, call 706278-5001 to request the AaM Guide.
