The Dalton-Whitfield Regional Solid Waste Management Authority holds a Household Hazardous Waste
collection on the third Saturday of every month from 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. This collection is a free service to the citizens of the City of Dalton and Whitfield County. For more information please call 706-277-2545.

Aerosol Cans Cleaning Solvents Business Waste Compressed Gases
Batteries Weed Killer Radioactive Material Dioxin Pre-Cursors
Oven Cleaner Oil-Based Paint Silvex Penta Chlorophenol
Insecticides Varnish 2,4,5 Cholorophenol
Paint Thinner Pool Chemicals
Used Motor Oil

 

RESTRICTIONS:

  1. A MAXIMUM of 220 lbs. is accepted from each resident.
  2. The waste must be in the original container and have the original label on it.
  3. The container must not leak.
  4. The contents must match the container label.
  5. For residents of Whitfield County only
